Glassware safety: Most drinking glasses aren't rated for ultra-low temperatures. The U486A's range starts at −40°C, so use only glassware whose manufacturer confirms it's suitable at your setpoint and for the temperature change of serving hot espresso. Test your serving method before offering it to customers. Frozen glass can cause cold burns, so handle it with gloves and let guests know the glass is extremely cold.
